Mission Statement

The Story of PsychSystems, P.C.

PsychSystems, P.C. opened its doors on August 16th, 2001 and we currently provide an average of 900 services per month to individuals all over Southeastern Michigan.

We began as employees of a large community mental health agency in Wayne County, Michigan. Due to a change in the governmental funding stream and increased competition from other service providers, this agency realized that they could no longer afford to keep the large cadre of clinical employees and still remain flexible and efficient enough to survive.

In response to these changes, we formed a contractual group which:

1) Allowed the agency’s clinical employees an opportunity to continue to serve their clients and keep working under our organizations’ structure and support

2) Provided continuity of client care in the midst of change

3) Improved the quality of service

4) Helped the community mental health provider decrease their cost of providing clinical services

Our model is working. We are now providing services to similar community mental health agencies all over Southeastern Michigan.

We are also a CARF accredited outpatient mental health facility providing services to the general public. Our outpatient facility specializes in CBT, ACT, ABA and DBT treatment modalities which are the most evidence based, best practice methods known at this time.

We are proud of our accomplishments. We not only deliver excellent services to our clients but assist large agencies meet the demands of challenging fiscal realities by providing high quality services efficiently.
